Rates for news articles:

• 1 – 8 articles – £1 each article
• 9 – 18 articles – £0.95 each article
• 19 – 28 articles – £0.90 each article
• 29 – 38 articles – £0.85 each article

These are total price, including all costs.

After submitting your initial enquiry I will search for news articles based on the information you have provided. If I find any news items, I will send you only one email containing the details of the results of my research together with the cost of the copies and a link to a PayPal invoice (you do not have to be a PayPal member to participate. Your enquiry is without obligation.

Examples:

• If I find 7 articles related to your search the charge for PDF copies to your email address would be £7.00.
• If I find 21 articles related to your search the charge for PDF copies to your email address would be £18.90.

Please remember: If you cannot see the item you are looking for on this website please make contact as I am able to trace news items across a broad range of resources. If the item you are searching had an international interest or happened within the old British Empire and outside the British Isles it is likely that certain news coverage will be available.

Important: In order to participate in services available from Old British News apart from an email account, you need a PDF reader. I recommend the free Adobe PDF reader available to download here (other readers are available). Payments by credit or debit card are accepted using the secure PayPal system – you don’t have to be a PayPal member, you can check-out as a guest.

I can only supply one copy of each article.

I try to ensure the overall picture quality of the articles is good, however on some rare occasions, due to age or the original condition of the newspaper, it is possible the images are of a slightly poorer quality. If the overall image is completely unreadable I will naturally deduct the cost of that image from the total cost.

If I identify any newspaper articles related to your enquiry I will inform you and let you know how many are available and the date range.

I will also advise you of the cost of the copies if you require them.

I supply copies electronically by email in PDF format.

On receipt of payment I will process your request and send you the copies in PDFformat by email (using the address you supplied in your original enquiry). You should receive your copies within 72 hours (usually a lot quicker!)
